What Are we up to?

1. Strengthening the GoChurch Global Church Planting Movement
We’re honoured to work alongside GoChurch Champions Alan and Claire Morton to help build the infrastructure for a growing church planting movement across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. Our heart is to see at least 25 new churches launched over the next 10 years, and we’re committed to mentoring leaders, creating systems, and supporting the long-term vision.

2. Supporting GoChurch Liverpool and Bradford Campuses
We are actively involved in the GoChurch Liverpool launch, helping them to build the launch team, coordinate events, and support the pastors in laying a strong foundation. We also serve and fill in ministry gaps when needed in Bradford.

3. Leading the Manchester WeGo Outreach, and Grow Groups
As volunteer members of the Core Team at GoChurch Manchester, we lead the WeGo outreach department and oversee the Grow Groups ministry. Our role includes mentoring and equipping Grow Group leaders to effectively disciple their groups and create strong, Christ-centred community. We’re passionate about seeing people grow in faith and reach others with the Gospel.​

4. Communications and Growth at RHEMA UK & Ireland
Kandyse currently leads marketing and communications for RHEMA UK & Ireland, and we're both helping Alan & Claire to grow the Momentum program, which is focused on supporting alumni and future church planters. We love working with the RHEMA team to raise up new ministers who will take the Gospel further and faster. A big part of that includes recruiting and encouraging future students as they respond to God’s call.

5. Supporting Grow Churches and the Stones
We continue to partner with Jerry and Melanie Stone at Grow Churches, assisting them whenever they’re in our part of the world. We love coming alongside their ministry and supporting the incredible work they’re doing to equip leaders and grow healthy churches. We currently function as the UK address for their ministry.

Why the uk?

​While being identified as a "Christian nation", polls indicate that less than 5% of the population in the UK actively practice evangelical Christianity.

The UK is multi-cultural with migrants from all over the world. Thousands of Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists and people of other religions in major cities call UK ‘home’. With it's easy proximity to their original countries, we have the opportunity to disciple and train people into ministries that they can carry back to their Home Country where we do not know the language, culture, or even have immigration access to.

The UK is a strategic location to what we feel God is calling our family to accomplish in this season. Working alongside people and ministries that reach not only England, but into Scotland, Italy, France. We have closer proximity to the MENA (Middle East North Africa or 10/40 window) region which allows us to work with ministries in those areas to have further reach of the Gospel, as well as reach people in the highly multi-cultural England that can reach those areas and connect us to other ministries already doing works there.

England is experiencing the ninth slowest rate of church growth of any country in the world according to Operation World. Many churches are in a state of decline and are considering closing their doors as secularism, postmodernism, and Islam replace historic Christianity.
