How Can We Make This Happen?
Why Missions?
At the heart of our mission lies the calling to amplify the life changing message of Jesus to the nations. For our family of 5, this specific part of our journey started with a profound revelation sparked by an episode of "The Chosen," where we felt the weight of Jesus' call to Peter and Andrew resonate deeply within our spirits (Matthew 4:18-23). As we dove into the Scripture, we were overcome with emotion, it was as if we were hearing the story for the first time! The immediacy of Peter and Andrew's response, leaving behind everything to follow Christ, stirred something within us—a recognition of the radical obedience that defines a life surrendered to Him. Though comfortable in our present careers, ministry work, close proximity to family, and lifestyle… we sensed God preparing us for a season of discomfort, a refining fire that would deepen our reliance on Him. Despite initial reservations, we felt this unmistakable pull toward radical obedience to His calling into international missions, a calling we honestly had never previously considered! Through divine connection and prayer (and a few, “are you sure this is what you want us to do God?? questions asked”), our hearts began to fill up and overflow for the missions work we knew he had led us to. With the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding as our guide, we made the courageous decision to uproot our lives and lay them at the feet of Jesus, trusting in His provision and purpose. We invite you to partner with us on this extraordinary journey—to pray, encourage, and support us financially—as we carry the life-changing gospel to the ends of the earth, confident that in our obedience, we find the fullest expression of life in Christ. Matthew 4:18-23 18 One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers—Simon, also called Peter, and Andrew—throwing a net into the water, for they fished for a living. 19 Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” 20 And they left their nets at once and followed him. 21 A little farther up the shore he saw two other brothers, James and John, sitting in a boat with their father, Zebedee, repairing their nets. And he called them to come, too. 22 They immediately followed him, leaving the boat and their father behind. 23 Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.
